Scarlet Fever and RSV in Januray

So, this is what Scarlet Fever rash looks like. Poor Ryan, he just can't seem to catch a break. He was neutropenic over Christmas so he was bound to get something! After a couple days on antibiotics he looked a lot better, and then Tyler got strep. This time we only waited a couple of days to take him to the MD. Today we found out that Ryan has Bronchiolitis RSV again! Scarlet Fever and RSV in one month is not good. We had him suctioned and are increasing his breathing treatments at home. He has lost a lot of weight, so we are hoping that he doesn't have to get an IV. If he gets worse we will have to take him back to the hospital for more testing and observation. Luckily, his MD knows him well and said she will work with us to do as much for him at home as possible. It seems with his immune system problems, he catches things easy at the MD's and Hospital. Please remember him in your prayer where possible. Love, Jen
